Wasn't overly impressed with the park, but it was a nice place to stay for a couple of days. Little congested when you arrive at the office for check-in, but otherwise fairly easy to get around the park.

Good, quiet campground with very nice owner/staff. A little tight for larger RVs, but we managed, just be careful when you approach and make the turn in from the highway, little tight on that one. Site wasn't very level, but it was a good over nighter on Passport America. Pretty campground, just needs some updating.

We enjoyed a relaxing stay here for a couple of days. Backed up to the Tennessee River with a little boat traffic to watch. Really good staff that was very friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer, we'll return some day.

As mentioned, very peaceful, beautiful campground. We stayed 3 days and didn't want to leave. Camp caretaker, John, very friendly and accommodating. We'll be back when in the area.

Just an overnight Passport America stop for us. Pull through available, however the trees need trimming to have clearance for RVs. We took a tree limb down the side. Level, no sewer, dump station available. Met our needs, would consider again, just wouldn't park in the same site. Was only one available since another bone head without a tow vehicle, put his MH in a nice long pull through. Friendly attendant when we arrived. Lock gates after 6 PM, but will supply you with a gate code. Not sure what you do if you arrive after RV sales office closes. Better to call if you're running late.

We stayed here in 2002 and back again this year. Still the same, quiet, clean place to stay with a very friendly and helpful staff. Just love being next to the Amish farm, listening to the buggies going down the road out front. Nothing fancy, but that is what you should expect in the area. We hope to visit Flory's again.

Very neat and well kept park with a great staff and owners that live on site. Great location in a peaceful valley. Look forward to returning again for some R&R.

We dry camped for our five night stay, which was fine for our needs on this visit. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Nice access to the beach and directly across the highway from the convention center. Do wish they would take the curves out of the entry and exit driveways, it's a curb scraper for long wheel base motor homes.

We stayed 3 nights on Passport America among the snowbirds. Park is well kept, grass mowed, etc. The owner is very visible and has a good staff. Park worked well for us and two other couples that we met for a few days to explore the area. Would stay there again if we are in the area.

We stayed one night on Passport America, and selected a site in the lower price range, but other larger sites were available. Sites were close together, but we weren't parked next to anyone so that didn't matter. Would be a closed in feeling if the park were full. The staff is great, we enjoyed our stay, and will stay at Oakwood again in the future if in the area. Felt we received a good site at a good price, but do wish they would honor Passport America for more than one night.

As mentioned in previous reviews, you do park close to your neighbor. Liked the concrete pads, so there was no mud during the rain while we were there. Thing that sold me was the city bus that comes within a 1/2 mile of the park, which will take you downtown without having to drive, park, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you're going to SeaWorld, it's almost right next door. Would stay there again.

This was our third stay over the past 3 years as we use the park when visiting family in Dallas area. Park does good for our purpose, good location, safe and full services including new wifi since our last visit. Laundry room is the cleanest with good prices on machines ($1.00). The owner, Glenda, is very helpful, but you do have to communicate by phone or catch her driving through the park. We will continue to make Plantation Place our base on our annual visits to Dallas.

Good park, we enjoyed the peaceful setting and friendly staff. Level sites, nice lighting for night time walks, etc. Will stay there again if in the area.

We stayed in the 50 amp pull through section which has sites that were roomy. Very nice separation between RVs. Roads could be a little better and perhaps a little TLC on the grading of the sites, but it was a good place. You could see there is a lot of seasonal visitors and activities for them to enjoy. We only stayed 3 nights and the park was adequate for our needs. Do have one negative comment, the water is terrible!
